Mahila Samman Yojana 2024: The MSRTC– The  Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation has reported about the increase of women passengers in Govt buses. The women are utilizing the service. By observing the government took an initiative of 50% concession in ticket fares for women.

After initiating this scheme over 1cr women benefited from this scheme in just six months as per reports. This motivation aims to empower women and increase accessibility to public transport. People above 70 can travel free in government buses and people between 65 to 75 years of age will get a 50% concession for that fixed journey.

How to apply for Mahila Samman Yojana from MSRTC application:

  1. Go to the Play Store and Download the MSRTC application
  2. Login into the Application
  3. You will see the portal in which you have to select the Source and Destination
  4. Select Journey Date
  5. Click on Availability
  6. Select the bus and time at which you prefer to travel
  7. Select the seat number, press next
  8. Enter the passenger details like Name, age, gender
  9. Select Mahila Samman Yojana 
  10. Go for payment
  11. Select the payment option then Proceed 
  12. You will get the Ticket details.

2. You can see the seat details like 

* White color means- Seat Available

* Blue color means- The seta is booked

* Black Color Means- The seat is Blocked

* Pink color Means- The seat is for only Ladies

3. Select the seat and click Next

1. Fill Passengers Details

2. Name, Gender, Age, Choose Mahila Samman Yojana

3. Provide a registered Mobile Number

4. Proceed for Payment

5. Select Mode of Payment then proceed after that you will get your printed Ticket on your Mobile.
