This favourite street food is made with nutritious soya granules, fresh veggies, and minimal oil; they are light, delicious, and full of flavour. Perfect for snack time, lunch box, or evening cravings- enjoy the taste of Momos without compromising your health.

Ingredients for Soya Momo’s:
1) Soya – 1bowl
2) Carrot – 1
3) Onion – 2
4) Cabbage – ½ bowl
5) Garlic – 4 to 5 cloves
6) Ginger
7) Salt – 1 Tablespoon
8) Peri peri Masala – 1 Tablespoon
9) Black pepper – 1 Tablespoon
10) Oregano – ½ Tablespoon
11) Soya Sauce – 1 Tablespoon
12) Chilli Sauce – 1 Tablespoon
13) Tomato Sauce – 1 Tablespoon
14) Schezwan Sauce – 1 Tablespoon
Procedure to make Soya Momos: Momo Stuffing:
Take a bowl, add water and soya, and soak the soya for 15 to 20 minutes. After that, remove the excess water from the soya and chop it into small pieces using a chopper. Now chop all the vegetables (onion, carrot, cabbage, garlic, and ginger) into small pieces.


Now add salt, periperi masala, black pepper, oregano and chilli powder. Mix it well. Take a pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil, add the above mixture and add the sauces (Soya, chilli, tomato and Schezwan) and mix it properly, and the momo stuffing is ready.



Dough Making:
Take a bowl, add maida 2 bowls, water and salt. Milk is optional. If you want to add milk, then you can add a little bit, milk to make the dough soft.


Add the momo filling to the round-shaped dough

Now close the filling by using your hand in a momo shape.

Put the momos in a steamer for 30 minutes. After that, let it cool down and again take 15 minutes to steam, to get softer momos.

Remove the momos after steam now serve it with tomato or schezwan sauce.
