Ram Navami 2024: This year Ram Navami is celebrated on 17th April 2024, the celebration takes place across the country. The birth anniversary of Lord Ram is celebrated on Navami of Chaitra Shukla Paksha. Lord Ram is considered as Incarnation of Vishnu. Lord Vishnu took a human incarnation in the form of ShriRam to destroy Demons on the earth. Lord Ram is given the name “Maryada Purushottam”.

On the day of Ram Navami Hanumanji is worshipped the reason is Hanumanji is the biggest devotee of Lord Shriram and by worshipping Hanumanji Lord ShrirRam will be happy and all the troubles will be eliminated from their life. On the day of Ram Navami, people hoist an orange colour flag which is also called Hanuman Pataka at their homes it is also a symbol of Victory over evil.
How to Worship Lord Ram on the day of Ram Navami 2024:
1. On the day of Ram Navami wake up early before sunrise and take a holy bath
2. Light a lamp with desi ghee and meditate in front of lord shriram and other gods and goddesses.
3. Take Ram idol and do abhishek of Ram idol by using 5 things curd, ghee, honey, milk, and sugar. After that wash the idol with water.
4. Apply Chandan tilak to Lord Ram.
5. Offer Flowers and Sweets to Lord Ram.
6. Chant Vedic Mantra and Aarti of Shriram.
7. On this day Kanya Pooja has also a special importance.
8. By wearing Red cloth worship Lord Hanuman on this day.
9. By offering Panchamrit to lord hanumanji chant hanuman chalisa.
10. On the day of Ram Navami feeding food to needy people is considered good.
